Thats another one done and dusted, last week the #CountryBoyTour took The Burnavon Theatre, Cookstown by storm. Ritchie set the pace for the show opening up with a fab sing-a-long, it was up to Glor tire 2017 finalist, Pandy Walshe to follow with his set and boy did he do good, ok so maybe things did go a bit wrong with his guitar at 1st but once that was sorted, there was no stopping the Magherafelt man. Ritchie then went back on stage and introduced The Slemish School Of Irish Dancing where Naomi and Riley McClenaghan danced to Honey I’m Good. Ritchie then finished off the 1st half of the show leaving the audience wanting more. During the interval Ritchie met with some of his fans in the theatres reception for photos and was even asked to sign fans arms and their phone covers lol. St Eoghans Primary School, Moneyneany, joined Ritchie on stage to kick start the 2nd half of the show. They sang a fantastic version of Hit The Diff and Galway Girl. The audience exploded with excitement to see so many children get the chance to sing with a local superstar. The next guest was singing newcomer Jeanette McDaid who completely blew the roof of the place with her set. Jeanette was very nervous backstage about performing but once she got on the stage, she owned it. Ritchie had the mammoth task of following that but as usual he proved why he is such a successful artist, he had the audience up dancing on the stage and in the aisles doing the hucklebuck, Rattlin Bog and Proud Mary. The audience did not want the night to be over. Ritchie again met with everyone on their way out. Ritchie always makes sure he speaks to everyone on their way out, even if its just to say thanks for coming but mostly its to get their opinion on the show. Its important to us that everyone leaving enjoyed the show and would come back again. Ritchie has been wowing crowds all over Ireland and its easy to see why he is so liked by young and old, he can entertain a crowd of 5000, 500, 50 or 5, he puts the same amount of energy into each show. Keep an eye on all of Ritchies social media pages for competitions on how to win tickets for the next concert date.
