RITCHIE REMO IN FINE VOICE FOR TULLYGLASS HOUSE HOTEL RETURN


YOU can’t keep a good man down and Ritchie Remo is certainly not hiding his light under a bushel just now as he prepares to head back to the Tullyglass House Hotel, Ballymena on Saturday 10th March where he can be assured of a warm welcome.

The popular north Derry singer has just released his new single ‘Hills of Connemara’ which is certainly creating huge interest on radio stations and television channels not to mention the stir it is causing at the dances where Ritchie is currently performing.

A lively, upbeat number, it encapsulates Ritchie’s own vibrant personality and he certainly does the song justice in his own inimitable style.

“It’s a song I have been singing for some time and now that I have recorded it I must say I am very pleased with the reaction which it has evoked,” says Ritchie, “It certainly helps to create a bit of atmosphere at the dances at which we perform and I must say I am greatly encouraged by this.”

Over the course of recent months Ritchie has certainly been broadening his horizons in terms of travel and has appeared at leading venues in Cork, Limerick, Mayo, Galway and Tipperary.

He continues to build up a strong following not least because of his high-energy performances and effervescent personality.

“I love what I am doing and I like to make sure that the people who come to our dances really enjoy themselves. We have been working hard on our programme lately and we have introduced some new material which I am glad to say is helping to create a bit of a stir,” explains Ritchie.

While he has had huge success with ‘Hit the diff’, Ritchie is still keen to record new material and will shortly be entering the studios to lay down tracks for a new album.

In the meantime, it’s all systems go for his return to the Tullyglass House Hotel on Saturday 10th March where the doors will open at 9.00. The advice is - get there early!
