Castleblayney Rocking Out

Castleblayney Rocking Out

What a jam packed weekend with video shoots, radio interviews and gigs. First off on Friday we collected our video crew from the airport who flew in especially from Liverpool to shoot the new video for Ritchies next single ‘Country Boy’ which will be released in March. Then it was off to several locations including Innishowen, County Donegal and Derry/Londonderry. The Glencarn, Castleblayney for our first debut of the weekend was next on the list. Ritchie and the video crew continued filming throughout the show getting some fantastic dancing shots. Ritchie enjoyed his gig there and cannot wait to get back again.

Saturday it was back on location for more filming before leaving the video crew back to the airport. Thanks to Matthew Sloan and his dance partner Laura Ann McAuley for their lead roles in the video and to James at ‘Chased’ for recording and editing the video. Saturday night saw the band head to Smugglers Inn in Clady, County Tyrone for another debut. The atmosphere was buzzing and everyone left with a smile on their face.

Sunday was yet again another debut for the country boy with the fiddle. This time it was in The Times Hotel, Tipperary. All the Tipperary girls and boys came out in force to show their support. Yet again everyone had nothing but compliments for Ritchie and the band, many had said they had never seen a show like it including the whole production and the lighting show. Many of last nights show goers took to social media today urging people to go and see Ritchies show, everyone was full of praise. Whilst in Tipperary, Ritchie caught up with Mary from Tipp Mid West Radio for an interview. Today saw Ritchie back in the studio laying down more vocals.
