Its been a while since I done a blog, there has been so much going on, I don't even know where to start. Its been a bit crazy here at TeamRemo with shows, guest spots, weddings, video shoots, photo shoots, TV filming, staff changes, judging beauty competitions and lots of time in the studio but we wouldn't have it any other way.
Ritchie has only had a few days off in the last few months due to everything that has been going on.
Ritchie is busy at the studio laying down the final vocals for his long awaited new single - I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker, which will be released shortly. He is also busy doing final edits on his eagerly anticipated new album which is due out later this year. You are all in for such a treat, from what I have heard so far, you will not be disappointed.
Ritchie has also taken up modelling, he was recently called upon by Highlight Magazine to attend a photo shoot out at upcoming country venue, Pitchers Pavillion in Derry/Londonderry.
As usual Ritchie is flat to the mat loving life doing his weekly gigs. The last few months have saw the band travel all over the country playing in lots of new venues and loving it. We all love meeting new people and having the banter with everyone.
Since the last blog, Ritchie has been to Scotland a few times introducing himself to the Scottish market. The aim is to do a few guest spots over there this year and fingers crossed, the band will travel over next year to show the Scots a full Ritchie Remo show. You can catch Ritchie, along with a host of other stars, in The Thainstone Centre, Inverurie this coming Friday with the JMG music group as part of their country music weekend.
Ritchie has also been busing filming with Alleycats and UTV but more on that at a later date ;)
To his delight Ritchie was asked to play at the Donegal Rose selection process and to also judge the Antrim Rose competition.
He has also been spent time travelling around different Primary Schools in Northern Ireland playing some of his biggest hits with the kids.
Incase you haven't noticed, it's tractor and truck season which mean tractor runs and truck shows. Most Saturdays see Ritchie play at these before going onto play the dances at night.
Recently the team travelled to one of our favourite counties, Galway, to play at The Wild West Country Fest in Kilconley, Tuam where we played before Robert Mizzell. Massive thank you to Paul Devenny and his team for looking after us so well, to the shop across the road for Ritchies sandwiches lol and to Darren Geoghegan for all his hospitality.
There has also been a few changes in the team also so everyone has taken the time to adapt themselves to their new surroundings.
The list of things that Ritchie has done since my last blog is insane but he will never slow down, he has music in his soul and fire in his belly.
Saturday night we are back in The Royal Hotel Cookstown with the Big Band, it's always a great night there so come along and join in the Craic.
